The Software Engineering Desk
Opportunity to inherit a Software Engineering desk that has billed circa $600k this financial year.
Very few desks can genuinely be described as “warm”, but this is about as close as it gets. The majority of billings over the last FY have been generated through existing house accounts, referrals and cross-divisional introductions rather than heavy outbound business development.
In this role, you will:
✅ Own the Software Engineering market across NSW ✅ Run a dual desk across all major languages and tech stacks ✅ Work without ring-fenced clients or internal restrictions ✅ Access established PSA clients across FMCG, Financial Services, Insurance, Fund Management, Legal and Energy/Renewables ✅ Join a high-performing NSW business averaging $540k per head ✅ Have the opportunity to build and grow a team around you
This role would suit a senior Software recruiter (3+ years exp) or a broader IT recruiter looking to specialise further — who enjoys relationship management, account growth and converting existing opportunity rather than building a desk entirely from scratch.
